Our Grow-A-Garden Program allows you to come in and have specialty potting done or do it yourself. We then grow your plants until they are full, colorful and healthy. When the outdoor temperature is high enough, you can take them home.
Coreopsis
Coreopsis are sunny flower border work horses. Tickseed is the common name for coreopsis, a plant that gardeners have depended on for generations. Moonbeam, pictured here, is a beauty, with its feathery foliage and buttery blossoms.
Generally problem free and easy to grow, coreopsis will bloom most of the summer and are an excellent cut flower. Deadheading can be difficult with the profusion of blooms produced by this plant. An easier solution is to sheer the entire plant back after the first flush of bloom wanes. It will recover quickly.
Moonbeam is one of those great easy care perennials that should not be missed!
